We give people the skills they need to change
As a Community Payback Supervisor, you’ll work closely with service users who are currently on probation, sentenced to complete their Unpaid Work placements in their communities. It involves acting as a team leader for small groups of service users throughout their placements, and showing them that programmes of work can make a difference to their lives.
You’ll need to be comfortable working with people who display challenging behaviour, and you’ll either have experience of working in the criminal justice sector or in a custodial environment, or of using your own expertise to help train or up-skill others.
The role also demands lots of flexibility when it comes to travelling across London or Thames Valley, a full driving license, and an ability to cover weekend work on a rota basis.
