Helping people change is what we do best.
As a Probation Service Officer, you’ll deliver an effective and efficient offender management service for low and medium risk service users.
Your ultimate aim will be to help service users lead a crime free lifestyle, and your commitment to delivering our services will be the difference that drives them to change.
It’s about assessing service users, implementing and reviewing their Sentence Plans, monitoring and screening their risk of harm, and producing reports in line with national standards, probation policies, and practice quality standards.
Day to day, you’ll meet and interview service users, keep records accurate and up-to-date, and attend court, which means you’ll need relevant knowledge and experience, a good level of computer literacy, and great communication skills.
