We lead people to build better lives.
As a Community Payback Supervisor, you’ll work closely with service users who are currently on probation as they complete their Unpaid Work placements in their communities. It involves acting as a team leader for small groups of service users throughout their placements, and showing them that programmes of work can make a difference to their lives.
You’ll need to be comfortable working with people who display challenging offending behaviour, and you’ll either have experience of working in the criminal justice sector or in a custodial environment, or of using your own expertise to help train or up-skill others.
The role also demands lots of flexibility when it comes to travelling across our region, a full driving license, and an ability to cover weekend work on a rota basis.

Service users look up to me, which I think is a good thing, because a lot of them have not had any direction in life… that’s the difference I want them to feel.
