“Social impact is the effect on people and communities that happens as a result of an action or inaction, an activity, project, programme or policy that wouldn’t have occurred without you.”

Social value is a key differentiator for MTC, and sits at the heart of what we strive to do for our people and service users. It's also a key requirement of the Government in delivering outsourced services, and so as a contractual necessity it should be core to all our business. 

By 2026 MTC is committed to supporting 300 people from socially and economic deprived backgrounds into sustainable employment through our social impact investment initiative and our MTC mentoring programme. We will do this while reducing our use of vital resources. That’s how we strengthen communities and transform lives.
